This project was completed in May 2010 for the Burkey family in Collegeville, PA who asked us to replace their garage floor. Another contractor poured wrong, which resulted in a crack in the middle. We removed the floor and did the following:
- Compacted the sub base
- Added 4″ of stone
- Installed a #4 Rebar mat at 2′ O.C.
- Poured the new 5″ concrete floor with a troweled finish
The Burkey’s were very pleased with the final garage floor and expressed their appreciation for doing the job on time, at a fair price, and with top-drawer workmanship.
